Cameron Diaz who is currently in Peru was blasted by the media for the fact that she was seen carrying an olive green handbag with a Red Star she bought in China that had a political slogan that was sensitive to some people in Peru. The slogan was Serve The People and was printed in Chinese.
Cameron apologized for her lack of awareness that her handbag was not PC. She was criticized by Peruvian activists for her lack of sensitivity to the Maoist Shining Path bloody insurgency that left nearly 70,000 people dead in Peru in the 1980s and 1990s.
Some people believe that Cameron was just following fashion trends with the handbag. Others were saying that Cameron knew and was being sneaky about carrying it to express her "true" political beliefs.
What do you think?
