QuoteReplyTopic: For those of you who don't shampoo everyday... Posted: August 08 2007 at 3:46am
Not sure if this is in a method already but i ain't about to do reseach on it.
I know not everyone here washes their hair every single day. So for those who don't shampoo/wash their hair everyday, this might help.
Soak ur wavecap/doorag in shampoo, let it sit for a min, then rinse it with hot water and ring it till it is just damp. Then proceed to put it on your head. In my experience, not only does this lay my hair down REAL good, it leaves it smellin fresh as hell.
Ofcourse nothin is a better substitute then actually cleanin yo hair every single day with shampoo BUT for those still tryin to establish their pattern, it's gonna be key they don't wash/shampoo their hair every single day. Atleast they won't stink during this process if they do this.
@ J-Kid...Make sure that you don't shampoo everyday (i heard that it strips your hair of its natural oils). But its good to condition your hair everyday. When i was a newb...i was always told that its best to condition your hair everyday and shampoo every other.
But since i'm lazy, I just shampoo & condition everyother day (i shower brush for an average of an hour and i'm not gonna do that everyday).

dats really more work den washing ur haiir ...when u think about it
Not if u consider how much time it takes for ur hair to get back to it's natural wave formation. Every time i wash my hair, it takes like a day of constant brushin and moisturizin to get my waves poppin again. They are still there after a wash but they are shallow. They get deeper after a few days.
I know Chrisdogg can relate because we got the same hair texture and he knows that when u wash ur hair, the visibility goes down for a min and u got to put in the extra time to get em back in.
just soak ur wavecap while u in the shower then soak it in shampoo. This whole process takes me less than 30 seconds.
