Also I have a question about the guards. What do you all mean when you say #1 or #2 when refering to guards. Do you mean the 1 ia the lowest and so on, because I say 1/32, 1/16, 1/8 and so on
It's the same concept, but the fraction guard numbers refer to length and the number guards, i.e. 1, 1 and a half, 2, are generic numbers. The same way that 1/32 cuts lower than 1/16, because the number is lower is the same concept as a 1 guard cutting lower than a 2.

I kind of get it but I don't see #2 or #3 anywhere. I think I just stick with 1/8
