I use a hard brush in the shower and a soft brush with the h2o method does nothing for me. It seems like the h20 method keeps the products in your hair, while the shower method takes everything out as if you were to wash it

I know that a lot of people use medium and hard brushes in the shower but i did that once and my waves looked messed up later; even after duragging (but that may have been cuz my hair wasn't trained back then). But I stick to using my softy in the shower and for the h2o meth just to be safe. By the way...when i shower brush, i brush in the shampoo for a lil while then wash up. After i'm done, i'll rinse my hair out while brushing then I put carrot cholesterol in my hair. I let it sit there while drying off and a few mintues later i'll begin to brush it in for about 20 minutes (dampen your brush every once in a while). After i'm done doing that I'll rinse my hair out over the sink and brush until its damp. That's when i finally apply CC and brush it in for a while (til my hair feels as wet) and put in some doo grow and brush that in for about 5 minutes. And finally i'll throw on a du rag and grab something to eat...Nope i'm not done...After i finish eating, i'll take off my du rag, go look at my waves in the mirror and smile then start brushing again (sometimes using the h20 meth) as i chill.
PS: I shampoo and condition my hair everyother day. BTW...I just started shower brushing that way since i got my cut (for about a week) and i've really noticed slight improvement from it. Plus my hair feels softer than ever!!

lol looks in the mirror @ waves and smile ive done that before. yeah i cant get out the shower with ccc in my head ill just put it in the same time i put on my facial cleanser and let em both sit for 3 mins then rinse my hair out with cold water...then hit it with a brush.
man i think everybodys perception of a softy is diff cause a softy to me is this vidal sasson i got and this in the shower will lay down...the bristles and not my hair.
i use a semi hard (no homo) in the shower it works great.

I showerbrush with a softie and then when its almost at a moist consistency I add the hemp then medium brush. But overall I just medium brush I only use the softie when im in the shower.
@ Meji... I have this vidal salloon softy that I use or is it sassoon I cant remember at the moment. Its for showerbrushing only.
I wouldn't recommend brushing your hair with a hard brush while using the H20 method because it can damage your scalp. Remember when your hair is wet its softer and adding hard bristles to that....well you get the picture.

True @ Supa but I dno't overbrush in the shower. I have a very curly texture and I if the brush hurts my scalp in anyway I use a softer one. My showerbrush is perfectly suited for my dome!
