to me your waves in your signature look really really developed and ingrained in your hairs memory so i guess it would be possible to get your waves to change direction but it would be a lot harder to do it then if you started from scratch.

yea its possible ant green's 720s are a perfect example of that. The way I'm brushing now is completely different from the brushing chart.

If you have an established wave pattern, you can change your wave pattern slightly by changing your brushing directions.  But be careful because changing your brushing directions without scalping yourself can cause your waves to criss-cross and meander.  The results will depend on your hair texture and brush type.

I chose to scalp mine to start my wave pattern over but that was my personal preference.

How low is it if u scalp yourself? Like bald or a 0? And @ twingotti im not tryin to make a dramatic direction change like u did.  But i might scalp myself anyways cuz i want to get my waves straighter. Or will they straighten up over time? I want them like almost perfectly straight.

A scalp would be a 0-1 depending on how well your waves are ingrained. And you can get your waves straighter if you keep brushing the direction you want it, but you should use a hard brush to achieve that.

yea and that 2, but J-rizzles waves look pretty well set so if he wants to scalp he should get a 0.5 or sumthin around there
