I had been coloring my hair with revelon super lustrous #110 Light Golden Blond and wanted to go a little darker. I then went to Revlon High Dimension #80 medium blond - this worked great. My problem is that I thought I went with #58 Medium Golden Brown to get the effect I got the first time. So as you guessed it I did #58 this time and now my hair is a red/brown. I tried to go back by using the #80 but didn`t get the results I wanted. Do I need to bleach my hair out? And how long do I need to wait to start this? Any sugestions would be appreciated.
Thanks for any help! Georgeanne

Georgeanne,

I have found the Going Blonde Message Board has members on it that can probably answer your specific question. Check it out.

Thank you for the help. I did go there and have received some great advise.

As for you going blond, I think you shoud give it a try.

If you have dark hair you may want to start with a dark or medium blond first, this way you will not be as shocked with a pale blond. I had platinum hair as a child and my natural hair is dark blond. Also, you need to know your skin tone. I know I look better with ash or golden hair and any reds pale me out and make me look yellow and sick. Have fun and again thanks for your help!!:)
