Yeah you can get waves by the way I am a mixed Jamaican myself (Black,Irish,German,East Indian= 100% Jamaican). Just brush your hair at the level it is now and brush several times throughout the day, and within weeks you will see some real progress. O yeah read the 360 Wave Faqs sticky in the Wave Talk Forum.

Yeah you can get waves. Welcome to the site. If you need help with brushing look in the stickies. I think the have a brushing guide in there. But if you need one on one help you can pm me

Wats Good playas!

Ok... Im 50% Jamaican and 50% Irish.

My hairs not as tight as fully black hair but it isn't straight.

My hair starts to tighten when it is about 1/8 inch.
