I`m a guy and I`m bored with my hair and want to do something different. (though not color) I`m 40, avg. height, avg. weight Currently, I have a "normal" short style. It is about 2" long, above the ears, parted on the side....I also have the mustache/goteque (sp?) that I keep trimmed. I was thinking of going a lot shorter - maybe #4 buzzed on sides and back and a little longer on top. Do ladies 20 - 50 of age like this style? What about the facial hair? Any other ideas or preferences?
The facial hair is great.You could shave the mustache and keep the goatee or have a soul spot(small patch of hair /not long) just for variety since you sound bored. Also, don`t laugh but chops look great. Very stylish. I am not talking big o`l Elvis, Neil Diamond type chops but modern trimmed ones. To the cheek bones is very flattering. You could experiment to see what length of chop flatters your face shape best. My brother had the haircut you want but with the modern chops and he looked very handsome. If your face is thin you may not want the longer on top /very short sides and back look since it will make your face look a little thinner.
