Please forgive me in advance for all my questions.  Now that I've discovered the wealth of knowledge here I'm gonna bombard you guys. Tongue

So in my continuing learning process I came across this website:

It seems similar to the Hairlocs (which I have right now) but the links are silicone coated.  Is this less damaging to the hair?  I'm really scared of damaging my own hair.  Wouldn't the silicone cause more slippage?  I remember seeing a few posts about this & the posters seemd to like the silicone coated links.  I did a search for the brand but nothing came up.  Any thoughts would be appreciated!

the silcone will  not cause damage- i use them occasionally.
the opening has to be large enough to get equal amounts of natural hair to hold the same amount of extension hair. this is for equal weight.

Well this is interesting--I called them to get more info & evidently the hair is already attached to the link.  I was informed they cause absolutely no damage to the hair b/c the metal doesn't touch your own hair.

I guess the question now is, how is the quality of the hair?  And how do I find out without spending a fortune?

Hi Too Sense.
No one is going to tell you that their system is going to screw up your hair. They'd be foolish to do so so you can never go by that. What you can do is ask for a sample of their hair or go to a stylist who uses their system and ask them for a sample. You also want to speak to at least one of the stylist's clients (the more the better) who has had the system reinstalled at least once and see how she likes the system. You can contact the company for a stylist near you.

Thanks Ms. Honey, I agree, I doubt I'd call them & hear "yes, we have this product, but it kind of sucks." Tongue

They're having a training session near me in December.  If the cost isn't prohibitive I might just check it out.

LOLLOLLOL That would be hilarious if they did thoughLOLLOLLOL

If you do make it to the training sessions, make sure you get plenty of samples. I'd really like to see it. If the hair is already attached it'll shorten the install time. It sounds like micropoint hair.

There should be a 'truth in hair extensions act' where the company has to tell the real truth about their product!

If there was such act, it would have saved me  thousands of dollars on training and products for inferior hair extensions methods!
