If you are worried about your highlights fading and being less blonde or yellowy I would suggest a color shampoo between colorings. I use clairol shimmer lights and it keeps mine bright blonde but doen't effect the darker parts. The darker lowlights have yet to fade, they haven't had to be re-touched in months. Also, I do my own extensions and add lowlights where ever they are needed as well. Good luck! :o)
