what the heck this sucks... I have 2 broken chi's. They both are broken in the same way... the wiring is messed up or loose or something because when I put it in a certain position it will work but then in others it will turn off. Has anyone else had this problem? it seems like it might be easy to fix if only I could unscrew the chi and mess with the wiring but I cant unscrew it. please let me know if u know of any info that might be helpful for my 2 poor broken irons :(

I have heard Chi's break alot - same problem you are having.
 
I also have one but this hasn't happened yet.  I'm just waiting though.
 
Sorry.  Did you try to return it to where ever you bought it?
