.Ok girls  my friend is coming over on Saturday to help me bleach my hair  so I test stranded with Wella wellite powder and 20 vol developer.   the box says not to leave on  for more  than 50 minutes after 50 minutes  rinsed it out and voila orange hair.  So should I leave it longer or  use 30 volume  developer.  It isn't brassy  and my hair is still in good condition after the bleaching_popupControl();

Bleach tends to be far less affective after 50 minutes or so. You could try washing it off after 50 minutes and re-apply, checking it every 5 minutes. Using 30 vol could work too, but everyone's hair is different and it's very trial-and-error when doing it at home.

Probably best to rinse the beach off and reapply. If you cut off the strand to test, then you may actually find that the heat from your scalp will speed up the process and work better when you put the bleach on your roots. 30 volume with bleach isn't reccommended for use on the scalp.
