My hair is getting better and I'm getting closer and closer to teh color I desire (without being platinum)... here is what I'm sporting now folks and my short hair has grown out. Underneath it's kinda golden blonde cause I actually don't dye under there, I'm going to put a light brown or carameal there later on... I'm not putting color on it anymore. Merely lifting the roots as much as I can and applying vigoriously to the dry roots toning conditioner...it seems to be working. The roots are still a fe shades darker but that's cool, once it's dry you don't even notice. I'm getting the rocknroll feel I want from my hair so I'm getting closer...
 
Do you think if I went into a salon I could have them merely apply a toner and protien filler or something? Would they do that? As you can see I need a bit of a hair cut... it's getting shaggy.
But so far I'm liking...

I love it Bambi! Mine is golden underneath too. I think it looks more natural that way.

Yes try a trim or shaping but don't let them take away your length, it looks great on you. And they would do a deep conditioning or something like it.

Cute!

The perils of being blonde, dark roots, the right toner, and always wanting to be lighter/creamier/ashier and having to deal with damage at one point or another. Or is this just me? lol

No no spanial... i believe there is my sons yellow coat and a darth vader piggy bank, which he loves to carry around. He's like a mini darth.Ha!
 
Yes being blonde is a peril, and it seems to be even more cause my hair is so naturally dark... if it was just light brown or soething I'd be happy, but NOOOOOooo....
