I didn't realized how jumbled my post sounded. I guess I was thinking faster than I was typing. I guess I'm confused on the sealing before and after. I always seal my knots after shampooing, conditioning and drying. Are you guys saying that right before you shampoo your units that you seal the knots, let it dry, then shampoo? Sorry, I'm having comprehension problems right now.
ETA: I seal before the wash so I won't lose so much hair and still after the wash so the unit does not lose hair with use and wear. I usually always seal before and after every wash just to be on the safe side. I don't want a bald unit!
in the newbie thread i read that i'm supposed to seal the knots after i wash the unit. but over in the newbie thread on BHM it says to seal before you wash(actually it says both). it seems to me that i should seal before i wash so incase the knots get wet and soapy from the shampoo then they won't fall out. so can somebody give some reason to this rhyme please.
