I wonder what it's like to have one of the world's most famous heads of hair in your hands. I loved the shots of Anna's ponytail as she entered the salon, held my breath as the guy started cutting and sighed when she left the place. It looked a bit shorter, layered and thinned out, but who is to say if it looked better?
I got to see Anna up close several times years ago when she was in Detroit to see her then-boyfriend and fellow countryman Sergei Federov playing professional ice hockey for the Red Wings. The first time was in a parade after the team won the Stanley Cup and practically nobody knew who she was except for a beautiful woman with stunning hair. On another occasion at Joe Louis Arena, where the Wings play, I saw Anna standing with Sergei's dad, who I had met at a hockey clinic, so I took the opportunity to talk to him and her briefly between periods. On other nights, Anna and her gal pals would strut through the concourse, turning heads wherever they walked and waving to their minions like queens. Never did Anna have a bad hair day. Where are those parade pictures?
It's good to see that Anna still kept her long hair. But I would have to say that her getting her hair layerd and thinned out was not an improvement from when she first came in the salon. Her hair when she first went in to the salon was breathtaking.

Nice one! Looked like she got confused about what side of the car she was supposed to get in. As for the haircut, it was only a trim. If she never had those her hair would be trailing behind her by now.

Looks like the stylist tapered the sides a bit, while otherwise leaving the length. After the first cut on the left side, it looks like Anna playfully hit at him as if to say don't cut so much - it looked like several inches, though on a narrow section of hair. After she left the salon she said she'd be playing tennis there the next day. I think the side hair after the cut will be harder to deal with/pull back out of the way on the tennis court.
