I have been coloring my hair professionally for well over twenty years. I recently relocated, and found a salon that uses Goldwell. I have noticed, that since I have been going there, my roots that are touched up never, ever match the rest of the hair. So I basically have two different tones the whole time - the roots a much lighter, brighter shade. Of course, I pick the most difficult hair color - red. I'm also noticing it turns coppery underneath. How do I get my hair to the color I want, ALL OVER?
ANy advise will be greatly appreciated!

Since you are going to a salon, just tell them what you don't like and ask them to do it differently.  If its possible, you can also call your old stylist and ask exactly what they used to do to avoid this problem, maybe you can give you new stylist a suggestion if they still don't get it right.
