Does anyone know how to make 40's hairstyles on medium length hair? I'm looking for something different. If you have any cool hairstyles, not just 40's, please post!

I'm trying to think....that was before my time as a stylist....but I think I remember seeing customers who wore their hair in "paige boy" and "fingerwave styles.....also I had some female relatives who pinned a pompadour in the front of their hair....you may have to go to the library or look at old films....also try the internet for pictures.....of 1940's movies...
