I was viewing some of the various threads here and some seem to equate "shorter hair" on women as making them look Older among other things

well, here is a very youthful short style
 
 
I will post some addittional ones as well.

sure looks a lot more youthful than many of the long styles I've seen. Wink

I just can't see any of these styles making a woman look OLDer.

regarding this long vs short debate. for me it comes down to --- not every woman can wear short hair. you must have the right face and especially attitude - and confidence. really short hair says "look at me, i don't even need hair to be beautiful". short hair is a statement as well as a sexy stylish look. accentuates the eyes, cheekbones and neck.   while there are 'old lady' short haircuts, nothing short and stylish in any way makes women look older in my opinion. quite the opposite to me.
