can i lighten my goldish hair with platinum dye?

   hello im new here, just wanted to ask for some advice

about a month ago i got my hair bleached at the salon to a light yellowy blonde colour, but it recently started to go more orangey. to lightened it i bought a "light golden hair dye" by loreal paris as my salon is quite expensive so i wanted to save money. however it turned out more this colour

it is a nice colour and it is even but it is just not the result i was expecting since the colour on the box was more  like this

so i'm just wondering if i used a platinum dye would this lighten the colour (not to platinum, just to a light blonde if i left it for less time) or turn it a weird colour like bright orange or something ? i can always go to a cheaper salon to get it done or if you have any other ideas please share
