I found this while surfing this morning. I don't know if it's news here, but I hadn't seen it before. The picture is from publicity photos for a music CD that she put together with her daughter.

I just saw her on Beck last week and she still has the bleached blond hair.

The blond look was not that long ago; she went dark again earlier this year. She's much better off as a brunette IMHO.

She must be a natural brunette. Years ago she had that cute short brunette hairstyle that looked good on her.

That was about the time she played the Christmas Queen or something like that in the movie Steel Magnolias; she's riding in a convertible in the parade.  Will always remember her as Maggie on Northern Exposure though.
