can you color hair thats short like a #1 1/2?

I am only 25 years old but getting gray hair. I keep my Hair very short since I have thick hair that grows just straight hair and in the past when I let it grow out it just gets spiky and grows out like an afrow. It doesnt lay down.

So I have kept it short, i now get a #1 on the sides and a #1 1/2 on the top. But I am getting gray sadly, I get my haircut every 2 weeks or so. Is it possible to Color gray hair thats a #1 1/2?

yes of course , brad pitt colored his hair in oceans 12 and his hair was very very short .
