Out of sheer love for my mother, I let her cut my hair like she did when I was a child. Unfortunately, it turned out like this. I asked her to cut 50% and it turned into this. Even in the picture it's a little damp; once it dries, it turns into a full blown jewfro; this stage of my hair has always been a real pain, but I recently found out about wax. Now, I've heard it's TERRIBLE to use wax if my hair was as long as it was in the before shot, but it's now very short. I'm wondering if using wax would allow me to give my hair some volume, straightness and style. I sort-of liked the way my hair looked straight out of the shower and would like to achieve that effect and am wondering if I could with wax. If not, I guess I'll have to go with an army cut and wait a year or two until I get my beloved hair back. Thank you!
