Hey - can someone help me figure out how to get rid of yellow in my hair?  I hate it.  I cannot afford to go to salon anymore. I have brown hair and tried to bleach it - too yellow. Why can't I do the same thing the hair dressers do?

You probably need to bleach it until it is the color of the inside of a banana. Then after apply a toner that has a purple base.
