Hi Devi,
Hair extensions can be used for adding volume to the hair but there are many things to consider.  You need to have natural hair that is long enough and strong enough that is adjacent to the bald spot so that hair can be added and then used to cover the area.  Hair extensions are permenant in that they last until your own hair grows to the point that the extensions are obvious.  You can go with a variety of extension methods ranging from sewn-in to fusion (glue or beads or similar) or you could even have a specialized cap made that would fit your special bald area.  The best bet is to find a hair extension expert in your area that you can work with.

When it comes to hair extensions the options are endless and it takes a little time to get through all the info.

You can also try a top piece. This will give you top coverage. Best way to do this is find a wig, cut the bottom off of it and add some weave clips to help secure. This way you don't have to worry about your hair not being thick enough to hide the tracks or bonds.

You could go with the micro-illusions method it uses very small extensions to cover up bald spots while your natural hair grows. My mother also has crown baldness.

Once Bernard Shaw was having a walk when some harum-scarum cyclist ran into him and Shaw fell to the ground. The cyclist was very sorry and came off his bike to help Shaw get on his feet. Fortunately Shaw was not hurt. The cyclist apologized to Shaw, but Shaw said, "I’m sorry that you are unlucky. If you had killed me, you would be known all over the world."

Hi Devi,

In my honest opinion, you should first consider sorting out the route of your hair loss. Wearing hair extensions may cause the problem to become worse, as they could weaken your hair more. Hair extensions should really be used ocassionally - e.g for night out or on special occasions not as a permanent solution to hair loss. Speak to a specialise and grow your hair back to its normal thickness, then think about wearing hair extensions to add length etc.

First try to diagnose the hair loss problem. Take advice and nutrition foods from the Doctor.
Second Use the high quality extensions which is made by Natural Human Hair. That will improve your confidence and appearance.

I prefer the clip in or taped hair extension. They have always worked best for me.

If you are loosing your hair, then I think you have to take proper treatment for it. It may be because of various reasons, so go to the doctor. You can do hair extension also if you want to increase volume and length of your hair.

If you are using hair extensions for volume rather than length, then I personally prefer the 20" extensions. It will likely be longer than your natural hair, unless you already have ultra long hair. Since Luxy Hair extensions are made with 100% remy human hair, they can be cut or trimmed just like your own natural hair, without affecting the integrity of the wefts or extensions.

Hi since your problem is having less hair, hair extension might be a good choice, as it can add on your hair length and increase volume, but do keep in mind that your natural hair should have a minimum of 4-6 inches long to ensure the extensions can be securely attached to your hair and to allow you natural hair to obscure the extensions attachments. Make sure to
follow the step-by-step guide on how to apply extensions. (https://www.perfectlocks.com/pages/beginners-guide-to-hair-extensions)
