She had a beautiful long, layered cut with bangs a few years ago that seemed to disappear as soon as it arrived. (See old thread.) For my money, none of these other lengths and styles compare.

I was surprised she had short hair before...thought she was one of those "always long" hair girls.   I thought some of the earlier short hair pics were great.  I like the current cut but think it can be better.

Looks like she couldn't really decide what style she wanted but still cut it off anyway.
 
Hopefully it will morph into something/anything better.

I think she looks great!  She hasn't had short hair since late 2002/early 2003 (see Wireimage for pics).  Pretty hot Mommy Chop if you ask me (even if it 10 months after the birth of her child)!

I'll say it: Mistake.

I loved her long, straight hair. Don't like that longish bob on her at all -- especially not this wavy version of it.

IMO, "softer, more approachable" is the last thing she needed. Sorry, Klaatu.

I was prepared to suggest she should regret this, but... I would be wrong to do so. I like it -- the waves give her a softer, more approachable look.
