Is it true that if yuo don't wash your hair for an extended period of time your hair actually "washes" itself?
If this is true, how long does it take?

Untrue, unless you consider the grease to be performing some sort of cleaning function. Not my definition of clean.

My scalp would be all icky and gummy. YMMV.


Just looking for a few good hair slaves - is that too much to ask?
