I have my favorite reality shows but I find myself even bored with my favorites. I wonder if the era of reality shows will end soon. It use to be I couldn't wait to watch my favorites but now I can skip a few without going crazy. Maybe I'm just getting old

I was actually having a similar conversation the other day. We were talking about how many new sitcoms and reality shows are on TV now and how many we actually watch. I think with the abundance of reality TV on the air these days the quality of the programming has decreased substantially. I remember growing up and watching a bunch of sitcoms that were good for the whole family while also being witty and funny. Nowadays the shows are not that good and it seems that they will make a reality show about anything; couponing, buying storage spaces and jersey shore is about a bunch of young adults getting drunk and acting like fools. I find that with all the dance and singing shows competing for viewers and air time I have become disinterested and stopped watching any of them. TV isn’t what it used to be.
