Yoga can help you to lose weight both physically and mentally. By taking advantage of meditation and breathing exercises in practicing you will prepare your mind for dedication and discipline that will take you to lose the weight. If you are ready to work towards your goal of weight loss psychologically, it will be much easier for you to do the physical work required to lose weight.
Yoga does have many positive health benefits for your mind and body. I do hot yoga which is yoga that is done in a room that is similar in temperature to a sauna but less hot. It allows the room to steam up and allows you to sweat out toxins. I love it because it is very relaxing.
Yoga combined with circuit training, cardio and eating well is a part of my weekly routine. I am actually thinking of going on a yoga retreat this summer with some friends.
