Saw her on Idol tonight...definitely cut short.  While I like short hair calling this a STYLE would be overrating it way too much....this is bad.  I am hoping that with some sort of styling it could be saved.

You know Kramer, I think there are three possible reasons Ms. McPhee cut her hair.

1. Because she likes to change things up
2. Some Evil plot against long-haired beauties
3. To fill some personal vendetta against all long-hair lovers.

I'm going with #1!

Meanwhile, back to Katherine.  For her face shape, the length and style of this cut look like crap.  She should have stopped at shoulder-length or gone much shorter to keep her head from looking like a football.  Really not sure what she was going for here...
