A hair glaze a chemical treatment that you add to your locks to coat the shafts with a shine booster and add a hint of color to your mane. The solution in a glaze includes a bit with peroxide and semipermanent hair dye. Since you are adding chemicals to your locks that can dry them out, it is to your advantage to use hair care products that keep them healthy and strong.

What to Look For

While you’re on the hunt for a shampoo for your glazed hair, look for products specially formulated for color-treated hair. Look for a shampoo that adds moisture into your hair to help combat dryness. Shampoos for color-treated hair that contain protein are also good because they can help strengthen your locks. If you get your hair glazed during the spring or summer months, protect your hair further with a shampoo that offers SPF protection, which will help keep the color from fading and becoming too dehydrated.

Common Pitfalls

If you tend to use quite a bit of hair products, like gel and hairspray, it’s natural to lean toward using a clarifying shampoo, especially since it can get rid of minerals that build up in your hair. This type of shampoo, however, can strip your hair of the color you paid for and leave it dry. Read the ingredient list on shampoo bottles and stay away from shampoos with sulfates because they can make your hair drier than necessary.

Shampoo Routine

According to fashion magazine “Elle,” the best way to retain the color from the glaze and keep your locks hydrated is to avoid washing your hair every day. Shampoo your hair every other day, but use conditioner every day. You can even forgo wetting your tresses daily by using a dry shampoo to help keep hair oil at bay. When shopping for a conditioner, choose one made by the same manufacturer as your shampoo because the two are formulated to work with each other.

Where to Buy

You can find shampoo for glazed hair at drugstores and one-stop-shops. If you want a salon-quality product, hit up your favorite salon or hair and beauty-supply store. If your busy schedule doesn’t give you the time to wander the hair care aisles, call your salon and ask your favorite hair guru for shampoo recommendations. Then purchase the shampoo online through a trusted retailer.

Hello... Basically shampoos in market all are contains a lot of chemicals. But you can try to buy that shampoo which is made up of less chemicals. Although you can try home remedies to wash your hairs instead of shampoo. These natural remedies are helpful in thickness, silkness and growth of hairs.
