She went blonde -- really blonde. Liked her hair better "less blonde." It was somehow more special.

I agree...the more blonde pic looks more ordinary.  I bet she would look great with auburn color.

This is one of those drastic changes that actually has me mourning the before look. She doesn't look terrible with the new hair, but she was kind of a goddess of sorts with the old.
