does anyone out there have diabetes and hair loss? My hair started falling out 6 months ago. I've had blood tests, been to a dermatologist and really have gotten no answers. does anyone know if insulin can cause this side effect? I appreciate any help!!!!!!

I have been on insulin since I was 8 and have normal adult male pattern baldness in my 30's. You should have your thyroid checked that can cause hair loss problems.
