Gotta agree with loveshorthair, it showed off her face and neck. Made her stand out from all the bland Hollywood young adults with long blonde hair and no talent. (Plenty of gorgeous women with long hair, but if you spend ten minutes in Los Angeles, 80 percent of the women under 30 have a slight variation of the same hairdo. It gets to be anonymous and unattractive after a while.)
It actually looks better when her head is turned to the side. Jennifer is one if those people who even makes a grow-out length look good. I saw her on Late Nite last night and kind of wanted to cut mine back to that length. I'm sure I couldn't look nearly that good, though. This woman is absolute magic.

and then there's this article from the folks at People Magazine which .... well, I'll let ya'll figure it out but it goes along the same lines as thinking short hair touches your shoulder

I think Jennifer prefers shorter styles, so we might as well get used to it. Like Scarlett Johansson and Mily Cyrus, Jen seems to be a short haired person at heart. It's OK with me. There's room for everybody.

I don't mind a bob at all, but all of these styles Jennifer has used with her bob have been either blah to me (when down) or overdone-not-in-a-good-way (when up). Liked her pixie more, and long and layered (like in Silver Linings Playbook) quite a bit too.
Your hair is your best accessory; wear it with STYLE!
Am I the only one who is totally not feeling Jennifer Lawrences' current "icy blonde"
Its perfectly executed, true platinum but I almost never like this color. It washes people out and essentially looks grey. I preferred her with a more natural blonde
