Apparently she was inspired by ScarJo. In deference to my message board comrades that are enraptured by short hair in any for, I won't say that it looks awful. I will say that both Katy and ScarJo have had VASTLY more flattering hairstyles, be those short or long.

As an aside, if I was in charge - and really, shouldn't I be? - I'd place a moratorium on this haircut. With a single exception for P!nk.
