I absolutely did not see this coming:

It looks like it's more about volume and a slight texture change than curl. Very different from the '80s kind. Still, feels like it came out of nowhere, the word "perm" is about the last one I expected to see in a celebrity hair post.

and so it begins...the retro perm craze, now that they have had a younger, legitimate star get one...tho i don't see much difference...maybe it's the picture, just looks kinda fried

never a fan of the perm.  Had to suffer through a lot of girls with bad perms when I was in high school...
