QuoteReplyTopic: What shall I do with my hair? Posted: July 17 2004 at 12:44pm
Hi, According to all my so-called "friends", my hair looks like a mop and I need it cut etc etc. I'm still striving after the rockstar look (hey, I'm 15...), but at the same time kinda annoyed because my hair *doesn't* look like I want it to.
I *think* the main problem is the side - how it 'slopes' as opposed to being 'flat' (all one length?). Like around the ends of my hair.
The only way I can sort of solve it is to brush my hair as straight as it will go (towards the front of the side of my head) and slap on a tube of KMS.
Any ideas? I'm going away next week and I want to get it all sorted.
You will need to visit a proper hair salon, dont go to one of these barbers who charge £3.50 as they are generally only trained to give the standard crew custs.
A stylist will be able to shape your hair, thin it out and add texture to acheive your look. if like me you want to keep the length but not to have a mop, then all the stylist needs to do is to take the weight out of your hair.
You will generally find that your hair will be at it's thickest at the back.
Hair products are also a big part of acheiving the look you want. Ask the hairstylist what product/s you will need, as each product caters for a different hair length, condition, and style
