My 17 year old has short thick (bit wirey) dark brown hair and wants red tips - I think he just wants to look cool. When I called a salon - they didn't seem to understand what he wants. I told them a haircut and red tips (over dark brown hair) which I'm assuming will need to be partially bleached. Does anyone know the name for this and what I can ask for to make sure he looks "cool" and not "wierd"?
