i`ve heard that this can be good on my dry hair if i use it once a week. I`ve heard of the V05 hot oil how is that? Can someone recommend a good one for thick long hair of mine?

Do not use hot oil on your hair, unless it is really damaged. It sounds like yours is just naturally dry. I recommend Pantene Pro-V Essentials Instant Hair Quencher. It`s not really a deep conditioner; it starts working as soon as you put it on, then you rinse. It`s very effective.

I really like Mermade by L`Oreal (you can get it at your local Sally`s store). It leaves the hair feeling like silk. A very good conditioner (and you don`t need heat to make it work).
