I've tried American Crew Fiber, Forming Creme, and I also tried out Redken water-based pomade.

The Fiber adds a little too much weight to my hair, while the Forming Creme is just too sticky and unsmooth. The Redken pomade would be my favorite but it adds too much of an artificial shine to my hair.

I'm looking for a product that adds just a touch of shine, does not weigh down my hair, and has smooth texture when applying. In my search to increase the definition and texture in my hair, I'm up for anything. thanks!

(Note: I need a product to produce natural looking "clumps")

I have fine/thin hair and I've been using Sexy Hair Products' - Short Sexy Hair/Slept In Texturizing Creme for at least 5 years. I love it! If you don't overdo it you end up with the perfect mixture of shine and texture. I also use the Short Sexy Hair/Blow It Up Foam and it's lightweight as well. (no, I don't have short hair )

Why not try a smoothing creme like Matrix sleek.look smoothing cream, I believe that TRESemmé and got2b also make one.
