We just got a new water filter for the shower. It is supposed to remove chlorine and chemicals from the water. Ever since we moved to this apartment, my hair has been yuck and if I shower lots, I get itchy skin. So I'll see if it makes a difference. I'll keep you posted.

Hi Suers, you're new here...... welcome!

How is it going with the new water filter? I've heard they help a lot. Another thing which will help is to follow up the conditioner-rinse-out with a diluted mixture of apple-cider vinegar in distilled (or purified) water; about 1 tablespoon of vinegar to 1 quart of water. It does smell a tiny bit odd (until it dries), but after it does dry, your hair will be wonderfully soft.

I so sympathise! Five days in Paris made me aware of how important water quality is, and not only for internal use! I really hope your water filter will work for you!

The more you complain, the longer God lets you live.
