I love short hair, and have often considered it, but I''m just wondering...in asking for your personal honesty, do you think short hair (read: Alyssa Milano or Halle Berry in their super-short days) looks good on curvier young women?
I am one of these curvier young women...I am not significantly overweight, just a girl with a softer body. I in no way mean to offend fuller girls with very short styles, I just seek your honest opinions...here''s a classic-formed question: if you saw a girl on the curvy-side with a style a-la short Halle Berry or Alyssa Milano, would you find her really good-looking?
I guess I''m just concerned that I would look disproportionate with a short hairstyle as far as my body type goes.

This is just for curiosity on my part--thanks for any replies.

I'm interpreting your description of yourself to mean that you are average or slightly greater than average in size. Go ahead and wear whatever hair length or style your want.

My preference is that women that are very, very large should not wear very short hair, as it makes their heads look small.


Just looking for a few good hair slaves - is that too much to ask?

Honestly, I would probably be happier seeing a somewhat overweight woman in very short hair than someone who's underweight. But just on my personal preference, the female body looks best a little softer and curvier-- seeing ribs and shoulderblades sticking out just makes me wanna feed the poor girl :-P .

I guess it depends what you mean by curvy? I call myself curvy and I've just had my hair cut very short, I'll have to take a full length photo and I guess you can judge for yourself, but I'm all breasts and hips with no waist. I think if you want short hair you shouldn't let your body type hold you back, there's bound to be some sort of shorter style to suit everyone!

I too am what might be called curvy (size 12) and tall (5'9").  I just got most of my hair cut off and spiked.  I LOVE it and I think the height on top with the spikes balances out the curves.  Go ahead and take the plunge.  I don't think I'll ever go back to long hair now. This is way too much fun.
