Okay, I have the ugliest hair, it's about 2" below my ears and it flips out so bad no matter how I try to curl it under. No matter what I do with it, it looks ugly and I need some advice for some cool short hair styles from someone with expirience-any suggestions?(P.S.-I don't want a new hair cut, just a new style!)

Why dont you try to pic litle bits of it back with bobby pins?twist bits and pin them anywhere...that looks good.hope this helped.write back sweetie!

Hair that flips out is great just to take pieces and twist up and pin. It will give you that funky look. I also suggest browsing through some magazines like Seventeen, etc. for some style ideas. There's even a who magazine dedicated to people with short hair called "Short Hairstyles." Hope I helped, Good LuCk!

One word honey...GEL. Hair gel works wonders on short hair trust me. I used to have the UGLIEST hair problem until I started using gel. It helps when you try to style it, and even if you want it to just stop curling outward. Use gel and get a rounded brush for the ends to use when you're blow drying it. Trust me...gel works miracles on short hair and you can even try new styles with it
