oh, sorry. i would also like to know how my hair would be affected by chemically straightening it and how long my hair would remain straight. thanks again

It depends on how curly your hair is, i had mine chemically straightend, it last for about 3 months but it didn't work very well for me because i have tight spirals so now i just work with my hair you should love your curls though!! Plus there are two types of chemicals in two differnt straightners, i had an anti-curl, it just relaxs it a little and fights frizz, there is another chemical, but i forgot which one it is, ask your sytlist which chemcial he or she plans to use, she or he should tell you, but don't get both within 3 months wait for the other one to go away, otherwise you'll end up with no hair
