Well I got a hair straightener for christmas and it worked great! ( Straight styles steam straightening iron by conair) . in fact, it worked so great that I decided I would use it everyday! ( stupid idea). Now when I use it, my hair goes all dry and fuzzy =( I have tried laying off it for like 3 days then i try using it again and my hair doesn't go straight and it puffs up a lot. I've tried hair moisturizers and moisturizing damage repair shampoos, conditioners, etc. But my hair is still damaged and won't go straight anymore. Only wavy & puffy. Any suggestions!?

Hello!
Well, the only thing I think of doing is maybe getting it cut like shoulder length and letting it drip dry some days so then some of the frizy ness will go away. I had that problem but it was something wrong in my new house. Maybe it isn't the stuff you are useing for your hair? Well, if you like my idea or need any more help. E-mail me back!

Hi there!
I think, first of all, cut some of the dead ends off. Then, when you absolutely have to satisfy the urge to straighten, use a product like Thermasilk. Also, there's a Frizz Ease serum that makes hair super shiny, even after heat styling. I've sometimes used a couple drops of baby oil in my hair when it was wet. It won't come out oily if you put in ONLY 2 or 3 drops and comb through.
Hope it works for you!
