Hi there guys, I have mid-back length brown hair with some dark `lowlights` which seemed a good idea at the time. It is quite oily which means that if I do not wash it I have to wear it up a lot, I have got real good at various braids and right now its in a quite loose braid with the tail colied in a bun.

Hello, I think mid back length hair is great and braids are too (no restrictions to let it grow longer). I also had to wash my hair every day with shampo, thinned with water, but currently the hair seems to like it to be washed ever other day. Hair length is some inches below my shoulder, my next goal is to reach midback length, hope it will not stop growing (who knows what genetics will decide ...). I have changed my hair washing routine from using shampoo to fluid soap (containing milk and honey, thinned with a lot of water ) and it works good, it even gives my very thin hair more volume. After that I use a conditioner mixed with jojoba oil without silicones to avoid damage through combing, and only a wide toothed comb.
