That's funny because you sound like u look a lot like me! I have red hair (although it's shoulder length, pale complexsion, small figure and an oval-ish face! hehe...anyway, back to you! I love french braids w/long red hair...very pretty! You should find someone (or learn yourself) that can french braid so you can have two french braids. My mom does that to me all the time! Hope it works 4 ya!

Hi Fireangel, I think Kelly was right, braids are the way to go. You can get so many different looks with braids. They are also very pretty, and you hair looks so nice when you take the braids out. I took a course in braiding at our local adult education center. It was great. I was the only guy taking the class, so I got some teasing, but not too much.
One thing I learned was that after you get your braid about half way done, hold the braid with one hand and and make a claw with your other hand and insert it in the hair above the top of the braid and expand it a little bit. By doing this you are loosening the braid and creating a softer look around your face, it is a very feminine look. Keep experimenting until you find the right look. I learned about 6-8 different techniques for braiding and how to make an up-do with braids. My hair is light brown and almost to my waist. It was one of the most enjoyable things that I learned in the past few years. Good Luck, and have fun.
