I really need some suggestions or advice about funky hair. At the moment I have natural light blonde hair that is past my shoulders and cut in long layers. I`ve always wanted to dye my hair a funky color like pink, blue, etc. and cut it a little different but I`ve always chickened out. I`ve finally gathered my courage but I have no idea what color or cut I should get. I would really appreciate some advice. Especially from the guys :)

At a Drug Store you can buy Manic Panic its a 2 week wash out. ( I don`t know where you live but I live in Ontario Canada and it cost me about $15) It comes in a small jar BUT it does alot. I dyed my hair 3 with it, and put strikes in 2 of my cousins hair and a friends hair, so it does go along way, and you can reuse it, its not a hairdye you have to throw out within half an hour of opening it! Manic Panic comes in MANY (CRAZY) colours. the lighter your hair the better it works!
Well I hope I`ve helped you with the colour but I`m not so sure about a cut. Do you have the guts to cut your hair ear length or shorter?? Or you could just leave it long and take out the layers...... If I think of anything else I will reply

Thanks so much! I had thought about using Manic Panic but wasn`t sure. Now I just have to decide on a color! I have a really round face so I`m not sure if I want to get it cut too short. I do want a change though. Thanks so much for your help! :)
Hi! I actually have a friend, who wanted to dye her hair a really funky colour, but she was a tad nervous that it wouldn`t look right,or that it might look to wild, or that it might not go the correct colour she wanted to. So, finally what she decided to do after she worked up the courage is to dye the tips of her hair. It looks soooooooo cool!!!!!:) I actually did it at home for her with this new hair colour stuff ( I think it`s called Extreme FX or something) and another friend and I just did about two inches of colour from her tips up. It`s just the right amount of colour and funkiness, and it doesn`t shout out : "I coloured my hair neon pink!!!" I think this method is called dipping or something. Anywayz, I just thought I`d tell you about this, cuz it looks really great. Actually, two other girls @ my school have now done the same thing. I just thought I`d give you another idea:)
I ahve also thought about making my hair look more funky, but my mom doesn`t really want me to die or cut it. My hair is brown and just below my shoulders in length. In drug stores, you can buy different products that can colour your hair and will wash out in one shampoo. There are tons of different ones so you should go and take a look. I`m not sure about cutting your hair, but I know a cool hair style that might help you and would look really good if you had coloured streaks. You divide your hair down the middle. Then, put it in two low pig-tails. You can have them higher on your head, but I think it looks best if they are lower and close together. Then, use elastics to secure them. I like to use funky colours like yellow or lime green. After that, make each pig-tail into a bun. It`s also fun to wear a funky headband or clip in your hair, spray it with sparkles or wear a bandana. I hope I helped you out!
