My hair is way too many colors. I got my already natural multicolored hair highlighted. So It was like this after. If I put it up there was harsh lines. When down it was like 10 differnet colors on top. After 2 days of practically crying over it I went back and got a semipermanent red over it. Now (5 months later) It faded almost back to the original but less harsh.but still way too many colors that I dont even like. Mostly dark underneath,then many differnent highlights on top orange,red blond. Anyways Im sick of it. And Im sick of the hightlights I want like all one color. Should I get my hair stripped? Is this damging to the hair? Can you do it at home? Would my only option be going darker?
It seems to me that you should pick a color that is close to your natural shade or at least one of them since you said it is naturally multicolored so that when it grows out you won`t have really different colored roots. You could try a semi permanent first to see if you like it. I kind of like dark colored hair better than blonde and highlighted hair but maybe I`m strange. Good luck
