Some girls look good with longer, others with shorter hair. That`s my opinion for guys too. Generally, though, I don`t like pixies or other choppy looking haircuts. If you have an oval face, a more or less blunt or angled jaw to collar length bob may look good. It is true that many guys like long hair very much (I personally feel there is a bit of a shortage of girls - and guys - with real long hair) but not all. If you feel OK with your hair the way it is now, and if it is not giving you trouble, you might as well keep it as it is. But maybe you really yearn for a change.
Long hair is much better on girls, not only does it look better, it also gives you so much versatility in the styles that you can wear. Short hair is boring and pretty much limited to one or two styles.

Of course this is my opinion, but since you asked....I prefer short hair on almost all girls. Short, to me, is defined as chin length to just above ears. Ultra short is the buzz... (I don`t like). I think that short hair accentuates the girl`s other features. To me, long hair hides those features. At least that is how I see women when I look at them. Do you want guys to notice only your hair or all of you?
