I`m totally inept at doing anything with my hair. I mean, I can do ponytails and leave it down, but I am a total loser with updos. I can`t get the pins to work for me!!!!!! Is there anything cool that I can do with my hair without many pins? My hair is extremely layered, shortest at about my chin, and longest at about my shoulders. Please help me!

I have some suggestions:
First, you could just dress up your ponytails by streaking with hair paint, dye, or Kool-Aid (KA only works really well on blondes) or braiding a few sectionsand pulling them back with a braid. (some of these might need a bit longer hair, but since you said you could do a ponytail...)
Try putting your hair half up, half down.
You could also try putting your hair up in pigtails, taking a quarter of the hair to do each one (so you have some hair that isn`t up in them) this looks great with most layered cuts that are long enough.
I can give you directions to do them, just e-mail me (I have pics of some of the styles)

Hey, You can try putting your pigtails in the mid-back of your head and then do an upside down flip flop and leave some hair hangin` down in front of your face!! Itz way kewl!
